This classically trained pianist weaves the realms of smooth jazz and R&B, seamlessly lacing them with passionate melodies. The Japanese-American fusion band Hiroshima features the string instrument "koto," but also incorporates many world beats -- perhaps reflecting multi-ethnic East L.A., where members grew up.

During the '70s and '80s, guitarist/songwriter Craig Chaquico played lead guitar with Jefferson Starship. In 1993, he released his first adult contemporary acoustic effort 'Acoustic Highway.' Turning point plays funk driven jazz, retro-soul and blues.
